Inquiry of the Week

Is it essential to study the Old Testament in order to truly grasp/understand the New Testament?

Daily Nuggets p.8

Today :

  • I will command my day in the name of Jesus Christ
  • I will pray and have faith that the will of God be done
  • I don’t have time to sweat small stuff
  • I will count my blessings instead of my shortcomings
  • I will find reasons to thank God
  • I will push myself outside of my comfort zone(s)
  • is not my past – so I wont hold myself to it
  • I will be productive
  • I will reach out to someone and say “Hi”
  • I will smile
  • I will laugh hard!
  • I will compliment someone
  • I will show the love of God. I will be a light.
  • I will cast down every negative thought

I will be AWESOME – in Jesus Christ!

How will you be “AWESOME” today!?

What’s the Tea?!

Its common to be affected by what someone may say to you, and how someone may treat you, mentally, physically and ever – it doesn’t have to shape the way that you live. Treatment of others doesn’t have to become YOUR IDENTITY.

Regardless of the situation/circumstance, and its affects on us, no matter how it has bent us, shaped us…we have the ability to bounce back – to recover readily!

We have the option to not look like what we’ve been through….

To not respond how we use to respond, how we’ve been responded to, or how the situation would suggest that we behave!

So, next time….. Respectively decline when others try to serve you negativitea..

No thank you, I’m good. I have my own tea!

Daily Nugget p.5 (Dance)

Have you ever been so hard on yourself that when you made a mistake, you went totally BANANAS!? Like – beat yourself up like nobodies business… And the most crazy part about it is that – nobody knew you messed up but…… YOU!

We are our worst critic sometimes. We can be painfully analytical and demanding of ourselves – with expectations that we don’t even require from others, yet in expectancy to fulfill them ourselves.

Everything isn’t done perfectly the first time. Sometimes – it takes time. Don’t take the beauty out of the process. Enjoy it.

So the next time you stumble,

make it part of the dance….

Do you have any stories where you stumbled, but made it apart of the dance? If so, please share!
