Daily Nuggets p.8

Today :

  • I will command my day in the name of Jesus Christ
  • I will pray and have faith that the will of God be done
  • I don’t have time to sweat small stuff
  • I will count my blessings instead of my shortcomings
  • I will find reasons to thank God
  • I will push myself outside of my comfort zone(s)
  • is not my past – so I wont hold myself to it
  • I will be productive
  • I will reach out to someone and say “Hi”
  • I will smile
  • I will laugh hard!
  • I will compliment someone
  • I will show the love of God. I will be a light.
  • I will cast down every negative thought

I will be AWESOME – in Jesus Christ!

How will you be “AWESOME” today!?

What’s the Tea?!

Its common to be affected by what someone may say to you, and how someone may treat you, mentally, physically and emotionally..how ever – it doesn’t have to shape the way that you live. Treatment of others doesn’t have to become YOUR IDENTITY.

Regardless of the situation/circumstance, and its affects on us, no matter how it has bent us, shaped us…we have the ability to bounce back – to recover readily!

We have the option to not look like what we’ve been through….

To not respond how we use to respond, how we’ve been responded to, or how the situation would suggest that we behave!

So, next time….. Respectively decline when others try to serve you negativitea..

No thank you, I’m good. I have my own tea!

Daily Nugget p.5 (Dance)

Have you ever been so hard on yourself that when you made a mistake, you went totally BANANAS!? Like – beat yourself up like nobodies business… And the most crazy part about it is that – nobody knew you messed up but…… YOU!

We are our worst critic sometimes. We can be painfully analytical and demanding of ourselves – with expectations that we don’t even require from others, yet in expectancy to fulfill them ourselves.

Everything isn’t done perfectly the first time. Sometimes – it takes time. Don’t take the beauty out of the process. Enjoy it.

So the next time you stumble,

make it part of the dance….

Do you have any stories where you stumbled, but made it apart of the dance? If so, please share!

Be a Good Steward

Colossians 3:23

“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;”

Luke 12:42-46

“And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?

43 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

44 Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.

45 But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;

46 The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.”

Word for the Day

**IF: provided/providing imply a condition on which something depends.

**ABIDE: remain, continue, stay, dwell reside, continue in a particular condition, attitude or relationship.

** SHALL: may, plan to, expect to, intend to, will have to, is determined to,

**UNTO: To or definitely will

Providing that, you remain in relationship with me, and my words dwell in you, you may ask me for what you will, and it is determined to be done to you.

Such a powerful and awesome scripture! However we must remember to abide in Christ and that His word must live in us! That way, whatever we ask doesn’t contradict with who He is and what his word says!

Keep it to yourself!?!

Have you ever received AWESOMELY GREAT and EXCITING NEWS!?

You were so happy to share it, and when you finally told someone they were so dry, disinterested and unenthusiastic that you thought, why did I even telllll you!?!?

Unfortunately you can’t share YOUR good news with everyone, some things are just better left to yourself or with ones that you KNOW will have you back and be genuinely happy for you.

However, when it comes to the GOOD NEWS OF JESUS CHRIST, that – you can ALWAYS share with others.

Don’t allow peoples reactions to the Gospel of Jesus Christ deter you from sharing. Just because the person doesn’t seem excited, or receptive to the word of God, you never know what is going on the inside of them.

Don’t be discouraged. But encouraged.

There are souls that are NEED Jesus. There are souls that are SEEKING Jesus.

You may be the only JESUS they see! Introduce them to the Savior. Excited or NOT!

How do you overcome the reactions of others? Has it deterred you, or inspired you? Any advice for believers?
