People are dying without ever having lived….

Daily Nuggets p.6 (Forgiveness)

Mark 11:25

And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

Matthew 6:15

But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Colossians 3:13

Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also [do] ye.

Forgiveness can sometimes be hard when you think about the hurt and pain someone has caused you… But then again it becomes less of a challenge when you begin to think about ALL the things that we have done against God and how He so graciously forgives us…

Well if God can forgive our mess – and He died for us. Than we can forgive anyone.

****Also note, that if we don’t forgive others, then WE ARE NOT FORGIVEN!!!****

Holding a grudge is so not worth not entering into Heaven…

Live Peaceably

“Live Peaceably with ALL men”

(Romans 12:18)

blessed_are_the_peacemakers_t_nv.jpg

Peacemaker: noun. A person who brings about peace, especially by reconciling adversaries.

Synonyms: arbitrator, arbiter, mediator, negotiator, conciliator, go-between, intermediary, pacifier, appeaser, peacemonger, pacifist, peace-lover, dove, peacenik

Peace: noun. freedom from disturbance; quiet and tranquility: freedom from or the cessation of war or violence:

Synonyms: Harmony, agreement, love, friendship, union, unity, conciliation.

Scripture: Matthew 5:9

“Blessed are the Peacemakers, for they shall be called the Children on God.”

We can’t be children of God when we are causing discord, confusion, or fighting.

Is this saying, that you can’t be angry? No, in fact, the bible says to be angry and sin not. But just because the bible says that we CAN be angry, doesn’t mean that we should live a lifestyle of being angry at EVERYTHING.

It’s not uncommon for brothers and sisters in Christ to have an disagreement. However, it’s certain ways to address those situations.

According to Scripture, the bible tells us that we should go to a brother or sister in Christ in private and address our issues with them. We should also come to them in a manner of  meekness considering ourselves….

A lot of times, when people have offended us we are quick to anger of quick to give the person a “piece of our mind”. But this is incorrect. In fact, we should be slow to anger, and we definitely shouldn’t be jumping to spill from our lips the first thing that comes to our mind in the instant that we are offended. For we know that most of the time the 1st thing that comes to mind probably isn’t Holy, or acceptable unto Christ.

God tells us to be HOLY in ALL manner of CONVERSATION -1 Peter 1:15

A SOFT answer turns away wrath, but a HARSH word stirs up anger- Proverbs 15:1

Let us be QUICK to forgive our brethren as well.

You may say, but that is easier said, than done. Yes, that may be the case, however, forgiveness is ESSENTIAL to being forgiven ourselves….

Don’t believe me? Let’s look at the Lords prayer…

(Matthew 6:9-13)

After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

“And FORGIVE US AS WE FORGIVE

It’s clear that we must forgive others.

If you are still having trouble forgiving your brother for something that they have done against you, go to God. Ask Him for the strength and the guidance to forgive. We know that His strength is made perfect in weakness. There’s no reason to come to God acting as if we have it all together. Be transparent with God (He knows it all anyway), but the more you are transparent with Him, the more He is able to work with and through you.

Lastly,

Let’s look at 2 Timothy 2:24-26. For this Scripture tells us who we should be:

  • Must not be quarrelsome
  • Be Gentle to EVERYONE
  • Able to Teach
  • Patient
  • Patiently enduring evil
  • Correcting others with meekness/gentleness

Greater Works

My life has changed.

Changed for the BEST!

I have been encouraged like never before. I have realized how far from I am from who I want to be I am, but I am more determined than ever to truly be whom I was created to be.

My husband had been talking about watching a movie called, “The Last Reformation” for a while now, but could never get our smart tv to upload correctly.

Atlas, today he (my husband) figured it out. So, the whole family pilled up in our living room and began watching this life changing documentary that pushes, and encourages the believer in Christ to get out and BE disciples of Jesus Christ.

I am married to a man who is no stranger to reaching people outside of the Church’s walls and witnessing, praying and even baptizing people on the street. I also attend a church who’s MISSION it is to WORLD OUTREACH. So outreach is not particularly new as a whole. However, personally the core of my soul was moved beyond description. I have a deeper longing and urge to witness, and evangelize like never before and I don’t necessarily know what I will look like, and I honestly don’t care.

I have always been an outspoken person IF you were to spark up a conversation with me. But I was never the one who INITIATED conversation. It was always awkward, or out of my comfort zone.

Nevertheless, a fire in my belly has been lit, and my prayer is that the Lord prepares my through fasting and prayer to reach the lost as far as my feet will take me.

There are plenty of people who are looking for hope, looking for answers, questioning if they have been forgiven for sins that they’ve committed. There are people who are hurting, in bondage, sick and confused and I know a God who is a healer, a forgiver, a provider, a redeemer, He’s all knowing, loving and able to be and do anything we need in our life. And if I know this then I need to be doing something about it.

Now, I know that everyone who knows me knows that I am a Christian. They know that I love the Lord Jesus Christ. I am a spoken word artist who only ministers the word of God. I have a Christian Blog and Christian Group on Facebook. I sing in the Choir, I Praise Dance, and I am apart of the Christian Drama Arts  Ministry (acting). I am not saying all of this to boast about what I do in the Lord. I am saying all of this to say that, even though I do all these things in hopes to reach lost souls, bring people to the cross, and encourage those already in the Lord… It’s still not enough.

I can give more. I want to be TRULY and FULLY used by God to the fullest capacity. I want to be used to witness like exampled in the bible, like healings, miracles, prophesy, baptize…. For the Lord DID say, Greater Works shall ye do….

And if the Lord permits, this is what I shall do.

Not to bring Glory to myself, but to glorify my Father Jesus Christ.

***I Pray that you are encouraged to not only be hearers of the word, but also DOERS! Be encouraged in Jesus name!

Blessed Because……..what?

Blessed:   consecrated; sacred; holy; sanctified: divinely or supremely favored; fortunate: blissfully happy or contented

Favored: regarded or treated with preference or partiality:  enjoying special advantages; privileged: excessive kindness or unfair partiality; preferential treatment:

Many times when I’ve said, “I’m Blessed” or have heard someone say “I’m blessed” it is after something has happened in my favor, or in the favor of the person making the statement.

Do I really KNOW what the WORD  BLESSED means? Or is it something said out of habit? Tradition? Do I truly believe that I am blessed?

These questions prompted me to define the word so that I have a clear understanding of what it really means.

First, I believe in HOLINESS. I believe that my body is a living sacrifice, which is to be HOLY and ACCEPTABLE UNTO GOD, which is my REASONABLE SERVICE. (Romans 12:1)

Secondly, am I believe that I am favored and fortunate by God. Why? So many reasons:

  1. I am Alive. The Lord woke me up this morning.
  2. I have mobility of my limbs, along with my voice, and eyesight. I am able to dance, and worship and sing praises unto God.
  3. I know Who God is. I am not guessing on His existence.
  4. I have access to Gods Word. (Bible)
  5. I feel Gods presence often.
  6. I am able to pray to God (whenever, where ever) AND I know that He hears me.
  7. I am able to REPENT.
  8. I am FORGIVEN.
  9. I received the Gift the Holy Ghost (God’s Spirit), and His spirit lives on the inside of me.
  10. Have and expected end. (Life after death: Heaven)

I literally could go on and on, but I thought for the sake of time, I would stop at ten reasons! The AWESOME and AMAZING thing about my list is that the things listed do not only apply to me. If you are reading this blog, you are blessed because you ARE alive and can see.

If you don’t know who God is – the awesome thing about God is he will, can, and already is revealing himself to you. All you have to do is ask God to reveal himself to you, believe, and he will!

I also came to the realization that being “BLESSED” has nothing to do with material possessions. My treasures aren’t of this earth. (Matthew 6:20-21) My hearts content should be in the comfort of knowing God and his promises, not on the seesaw condition of the economy,  my bank account, friendships/relationships, etc. But solely on the unchanging Love of God; Christ Jesus.

So yes, I AM BLESSED!

And guess what?! You are too!

Golden Rule?

I seen this today on a post from a Facebook friend and I thought that it was perfectly on time.

We tend to base the way we treat others on the way that they treat us. However, we should be constantly forgiving others of their trespasses that ours may be forgiven by God.

We should give Grace and Mercy to others that we may also be given Grace and Mercy by God.

Let us not forget who WE are, and that we are Forgiven, Loved, and granted mercy daily. So we should do the same.
❤In Jesus Name.
