In response to today’s one word prompt: finite. The word stuck out to me and all I could think about is the reality of limitations when it comes to our “flesh”. We are restricted to only what our bodies can do.
For example, during praise and worship, sometimes I stand and imagine praising God in a totally different style than what my body is portraying. No matter how much I move there is a way in which my spirit want’s to praise, that my body can not. However, I find joy in knowing that once we receive our glorified bodies (Philippians 3:21) I WILL be able to praise God truly the way my spirit desires – infinitely – without circumstances….
School started this week for my third grade son. During our car rides to school I always make it priority to pray with him and encourage him before he gets to school.
What I find most interesting, is that as much as I assume that I am edifying and speaking into my son – I am not exempt from the same word – the same prayer – the same correction or instruction.
Just because I am a parent I do not live by the “Do as I say, not as I do” philosophy. Neither, am I too grown to learn from situations or circumstances that presented itself through my child.
I thank the LORD, that He uses situations in which we believe that we are doing something for someone else and in the process He allows us to be fed as well.

The English language (or any language) does not have enough words to describe God… He is so much more than what I listed above. however,
If you know Christ – then you know life…. and
People are dying without ever having lived….
but if you have a relationship with Jesus Christ, then you hold the answer to their problems. You hold the missing piece.
Offer them the light….
Remembering who you are sometimes takes more than a reflection –
But a deeper examination.
A sifting of ideals and society perceptions.
Opinions don’t make you.
Circumstances don’t define you.
Physical beauty is temporary.
But what does your heart display?
Prayer is crucial and critical to our growth in the Lord.
Then, let me ask you – how is your prayer life?
Are you in conversation with the Lord seeking his face, casting your cares before His feet?
Talk to God – He listens and answers! He can provide anything that you are looking for:
But like any relationship, communication is important. Don’t worry about what you sound like or what it looks like. Prayer is intimate, and it’s between you and God.
He’s just waiting for you!
